Today we gradually worked through the fist weeks work on our planning sheets. we got into groups and decided what scene to film. What location we were going to film it in and what our characters where going to be. We also decided waht camera angles and shot we might like to use to get the effect we want for our film clip.

lesson 6 2/10/08

Today we looked at a program called celtx. We got to play around a bit and create things for ourselves. Already on the program were samples for example wizard of oz.i looked at these and decided to create a screenplay and storyboard fo myself. i based my ideas upon what i remembered from a story i wrote for my courswork last year and so the first 2 scenes of my screenplay were created. I then decided to draw a few things on paint. I saved them and uploaded them onto the celtx program so that i could use them in my storyboard so that i could start to visualise what my film would look like.

Later on in the lesson our task was to create a presentation that showed what you could do on celtx and also the advantages of using it.

lesson 5 25/09/08

Today we watched part of Lost in Austen and got into groups to decide what the producers would have to consider before strting the actualy production of the film. for example actors, copywrite and lighting.

lesson 4 18/09/08

Today we created a slideshow presentation about mise-en-scene. we have usesd a range of pictures and a video. Other groups looked at other aspects of filming for example camera shots, angles, editing, sound effects and lighting.

Lesson 2

ok so this is my second lesson and things are finally starting to work yay. this lesson we hav started to create an online blog which we can edit and upload video and you can see how our lessons are going. i will hav sections of work up here so i would appreciate your opinion of them and how you think i could improve them.

I hav got vidoes on my blog from Joss Whedons short production Dr Horrible's sing along blog. iv also got and acoustic version of diary of jane by breaking benjamin. Songs will change from time to time. :]


we hav just been given some cameras to go film random studens doing things...should be interesing to see how much the cameras want to co operate.
